Adding a New Project in Bid Packages

Last updated on December 24, 2025

This guide explains how to add a new project in the Bid Packages workspace so you can organize trades and documents under a single project.

Prerequisites

  • Only users with Admin, Manager or Job Manager permissions can add projects.

Steps

  1. Go to the Bid Packages workspace.
  2. Click Projects in the left navigation.
The Project Dashboard opens, showing all existing projects.
  3. In the top-right corner of the Project Dashboard, click the Actions button.
  4. From the dropdown menu, select Add New.
The “Add a new project” window will appear.
  5. In Select or search job, choose a Zurel Job from the dropdown or search for one.
(Optional – you can leave this empty if the project is not linked to a job.)
  6. Enter a Project Name.
The project name must be unique. If the name is already taken, the system will not allow you to save it.
  7. (Optional) Enter a Project Description.
Use this field to explain the purpose of the project or how it should be used.
  8. Click Add.

Your project will be created successfully and will appear in the Project Dashboard.
