Copying Templates Associated with a Trade into Trade Workspaces

This guide explains how to copy trade-associated templates into one or more Trade Workspaces within your project.

Prerequisites

• Must have access to the Bid Packages workspace.

Steps

1. Go to Projects in the Bid Packages workspace and open the project.
2. Click the Blue Actions button in the top-right corner of the project workspace.
3. Select Copy Documents.
4. A screen will appear asking: What you want to copy?
   Choose Associated Templates – templates automatically linked to the selected trade.
   
5. A list of all Trade Workspaces that have been added to the project will appear.
   Each workspace also shows the number of associated templates linked to that trade, helping you copy them in bulk, as shown in the image above.
6. Select the trade workspace(s) where you want to copy the linked templates.
7. Click Copy.

All associated templates linked to the selected trades will be copied into their respective Trade Workspaces in the project.

After Copying

• Copying may take some time depending on document size and quantity, and copied files will show a “Processing…” status until completed.
• You can continue working while the system processes in the background and click Refresh to see the latest updates.
• Once finished, the documents will appear and be ready to use in the destination workspace.

💡 Tip:

• Use Associated Templates when you want to quickly add your standard trade templates across multiple trade workspaces.
• You can copy to multiple trade workspaces at once, which saves time when working with large projects.
