Creating a New Document by Duplicating an Existing Document

Learn how to quickly create a new document by duplicating an existing one. This allows you to reuse the structure and line items from a previous document as a starting point for a new bid package document.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Bid Packages workspace.
  2. Click Projects in the left navigation.
The Project Dashboard opens, displaying all existing projects.
  3. Select the project and open the document you want to duplicate.
    The Document Preview screen opens.
  4. In the top-right corner of the screen, click Actions.
  5. Select Duplicate.
  6. In the Duplicating a Document window, click Duplicate to confirm.
  7. A new document is created and automatically opens in the Document Preview screen.
The new document includes all line items and the content structure from the source document.
  8. Add new items, edit existing items, or remove items as needed, then save your changes to finalize the new document.

💡 Tip:

  • The duplicated document keeps the same structure and line items, which helps maintain consistency across bid package documents.
