Magic Organizational Placeholders
The Placeholders in Zurel Bid Packages lets Admins define reusable text (like company name or address) using unique keys for consistent use across templates and documents. It must be set up from within a Bid Packages workspace. For use in templates or documents, ensure that those templates are created after the keys are defined.
User Permissions Required
Only users with Admin-level access to the organization can manage Placeholders Settings.
Steps:
- In the Bid Packages workspace, click the Settings icon ⚙️ in the top-right corner.
- From the side menu, select Placeholders 🔑 setting.
- To add a new placeholders, click the Add New button.
In the pop-up:- Enter a Key (e.g., company_name)
- Enter a Value (e.g., ZurelSoft Pvt. Ltd.)
- Click Add.
- To search existing pairs, use the search bar at the top right.
Start typing any part of the key or value. Matching results will appear instantly. - To edit a Placeholder, click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the entry. In the edit form, update the key and/or value, then click Save. The changes will automatically reflect in all linked documents.
- To delete a Placeholder, click the Delete (trash) icon next to the entry and confirm the deletion when prompted. The deleted key will no longer function in templates or documents.
You can now use saved keys in any of your documents, and they’ll automatically show the most updated value everywhere they’re used.
